Wild Heart
I call this stallion, Wild Heart for his free spirited nature and the energy he gave off while prancing around the fresh snow covered valley. The difficult thing about capturing these wild horses is that they are for the most part pretty shy and rarely ever sit still for these close up portraits. After about an hour of recomposing shot after shot in the windy conditions, I finally had this brief and beautiful moment where he stopped in his tracks and looked over at me for this shot.
