Bluebell Morning | Origin Edition
Precariously perched on a knife ridge at 12,600 feet, I edged closer to the rim of this small little lake that I had seen on the topo map! We had pushed upward over two thousand vertical feet to get here and as we crested the rise, it gave way to a meadow filled with pines, that opened up and revealed this perfect little blue lake. Crisp, clear and rushing by my feet, the water rushed past my boots from this little stream that fed off of the lake, next to this vibrant patch of mountain blue bells!
