Verbena Dune

With the recent rains, the sand verbena began to bloom. They only grow in sand, in the desert, only in very arid climates! This image struck me as almost surreal in that it was so perfect. I sat there high on this dune in the twilight with my little boy, Wyatt by my side as we composed this image against the night sky. Images such as these will live within me for all my days and the memories I make with my boy will echo within me forever as time that I will always cherish.
