After searching for the perfect composition for most of the day, where the perfect balance of sand dunes met with this lone soaproot yucca. Believe it or not, this plant thrives best where the dunes meet the plains, so it is ever so difficult to find one actually on a clean white dune on its own. When I came upon it, I knew that I had found the perfect subject to anchor the rising milky Way galaxy when it shone above the mountains to the South West! After shooting well into the night, I felt confident that I had finally composed the shot I was after and now present you with this polished version of Twilight Dunes.
